My name is Ceil Humphreys, and I love all things natural. That's why, over the years, I have developed my own skin care products made with only the purest ingredients and healing essential oils. I also love fiber crafts such as knitting, crochet, and weaving, in addition to sewing and embroidery. Now that I'm retired from a long and happy teaching career, I have more time to volunteer. For the last few years I've been teaching sewing classes at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission, a shelter for women and families who are trying to get back on their feet. They do SO much good there! You can learn more at www.ourm.org or go to my HELPING OTHERS page.
I also love to volunteer at my church, especially in the nursery. I love the children so much, and the best part is that I used to keep some of their parents there many years ago. Those long connections with church family are such a blessing
My most important role is being a wife, mother and grandmother. Family is so important to me, and I love it when my grandchildren come to visit. We cook, paint, sew, play games, and just have fun. My husband Wesley and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with a trip to France. The photo above is the Pont du Gard, a famous Roman aqueduct in Provence.
Being married to a man who loves God, serves others constantly, and is respected by others is the greatest honor in my life and a huge answer to prayer for me. He is my helpmeet, encouragement, and a tremendous blessing to me and my family.
